Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated LifeWise teacher who will share the gospel in a classroom setting with both churched and unchurched public school students. The ideal candidate participates in a local church and communicates effectively, caring for students in a perceptive and compassionate manner.

The role includes training, certification, and regular participation in LifeWise events, while maintaining records and fostering an organized, supportive classroom environment that reflects LifeWise

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Complete initial and ongoing training and certification within deadlines.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters for program director and school officials.
• Keep classroom organized, engaging, and redemptive in nature; manage emergencies and supplies.
• Build relationships with students, pray for them, and communicate with volunteers and school staff.
