Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms, combining Bible knowledge with effective teaching. The candidate participates actively in a local church, demonstrates outstanding communication, and embraces a faith aligned with LifeWise Academy’s Statement of Faith.

The role requires completing LifeWise training, teaching the LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, and collaborating with school staff to ensure a supportive learning

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Statement of Faith
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training and certification
• Teach LifeWise classes using the curriculum and map out curriculum customization
• Invest in connecting with students through building relationships and praying for them
• Maintain an organized, encouraging and redemptive classroom environment
• Communicate with school personnel and volunteers and submit updates to the program director
