Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks an enthusiastic teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching children.

The role includes completing LifeWise training, teaching with the LifeWise curriculum, building relationships with students, and maintaining an organized, redemptive classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise's beliefs.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Invest in connecting with students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain an organized, encouraging, redemptive classroom environment.
• Communicate with the program director and school personnel as needed.
