Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms by combining in-depth Bible knowledge with effective teaching. The ideal candidate participates in a local church, communicates well, and cares deeply for students in a redemptive classroom setting.

The role involves training, using LifeWise materials, building relationships with students, and collaborating with school staff to support a faith-based education aligned with LifeWise’s mission.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church aligning with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and map out curriculum customization.
• Invest in building relationships with students and pray for them regularly.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters; coordinate with school staff as needed.
• Maintain an organized, engaging classroom and uphold LifeWise policies and resources.
• Communicate with the program director and school personnel; participate in trainings and community events.
