The role emphasizes completing LifeWise Teacher Certification, building relationships with students, and maintaining an organized classroom while upholding LifeWise policies and faith commitments.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days and annual LifeWise Summit.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and relate to students through relationships and prayer.
• Maintain attendance records, class rosters, and needed materials for substitutes.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and implement redemptive discipline and classroom management.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and LifeWise staff; participate in outreach events and updates.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties and interactions.
