Job summary

LifeWise Academy invites applications for a LifeWise Teacher to share gospel and curriculum with public school students in a classroom. Ideal candidates are active church participants with strong communication, caring and perceptive teaching abilities.

Upcoming tasks include training, delivering LifeWise lessons, taking attendance, maintaining class records, keeping a clean classroom, and coordinating with school staff and volunteers to support students and LifeWise's faith-based mission.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church setting.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain attendance and class rosters including health concerns and permissions.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and manage classroom procedures.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director to ensure student well-being and schedule changes.
