Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher to share the gospel in public school classrooms using the LifeWise curriculum. The ideal candidate will be an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring approach to students.

Responsibilities include training completion, lesson planning, student relationship building, record-keeping, and coordinating with school personnel while promoting LifeWise's mission.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience in a school or church setting.
• Active participation in a local church whose beliefs align with LifeWise Academy.

Responsibilities

• Complete initial and ongoing training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using the LifeWise curriculum and build relationships with students.
• Maintain accurate attendance, rosters and health notes; prepare substitute materials.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage safety procedures.
• Communicate with school staff and volunteers; promote LifeWise mission and events.
