LifeWise Academy is seeking a CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role demands punctuality, a mature faith aligned with our beliefs, and a clean driving record.

Candidates must pass background and drug tests, and maintain a valid CDL with passenger endorsement. The driver will ensure bus safety, perform regular inspections, and assist students entering or exiting the vehicle, all while creating a calm, caring environment.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger endorsement (P) required
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in the last five years
• Background check and drug testing required
• Ages 21–80; annual CDL copy and P endorsement for drivers over 75

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
• Obey traffic laws
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus
• Perform regular inspections of the bus
• Refuel the vehicle as needed
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules; assist students as needed
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if agreed with the director
