Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a CDL bus driver to provide safe and reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site.

The role requires a mature Christian faith, active church involvement, a valid CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement, a clean driving record, and successful completion of background and FMCSA checks. Training and compliance with LifeWise policies are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL license and endorsement to drive a passenger vehicle (P).
• Driver must have been licensed for past three years.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in 5 years.
• Must pass background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse check.
• Drug/alcohol testing required pre-employment and periodically.
• Annual physician's statement for medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the bus and monitor behavior.
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training and participate as agreed.
