Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and has a clean driving record, with a mature Christian faith aligned with our beliefs.

The role requires a CDL with a passenger endorsement, background and drug tests, and willingness to participate in LifeWise Classroom activities as directed by the coordinator.

Qualifications

• CDL driver license with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) required
• School bus (S) endorsement preferred
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required
• Annual CDL license renewal and medical certification as applicable

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus safety and cleanliness
• Perform regular inspections and refuel as needed
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules
• Complete LifeWise Academy training and volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if directed
