LifeWise Academy is seeking a reliable CDL bus driver to transport public school students to and from LifeWise sites. The role requires a clean driving record, a valid CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement, and adherence to LifeWise safety policies.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Age 21–80; annual submission for CDL license (P) as needed after age 75.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and drive safely at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed and ensure a safe environment for children.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the vehicle; enforce safety rules.
