Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is punctual, responsible, and has a clean driving record, with a focus on child safety and a calm, caring demeanor.

Qualifications include a CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement, faith alignment with our Statement of Faith, and successful completion of background and drug/alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• CDL license with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) required.
• Active Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last five years.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.
• Must have been continuously licensed for the past three years.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Follow traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting the vehicle and demonstrate a calm, caring demeanor.
