Job summary

ClearPath Staffing is seeking an experienced Collaboration / Voice Engineer to support enterprise voice and unified communications. The role emphasizes hands-on work with Microsoft Teams Phone and enterprise telephony, with Cisco voice and collaboration technologies as a plus.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex voice issues, configure enterprise calling solutions, and collaborate across networking, telecommunications, and collaboration teams to ensure high-quality voice services.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, support, and troubleshoot Microsoft Teams Phone / Teams Voice environments.
• Configure and manage Auto Attendants, Call Queues, call routing, dial plans, and telephony/voice policies.
• Support advanced enterprise calling features and user provisioning within Microsoft Teams.
• Configure and troubleshoot PSTN connectivity, including Direct Routing, Operator Connect, or Microsoft Calling Plans.
• Investigate and resolve complex voice quality, call routing, connectivity, and telephony issues.
• Manage phone numbers, calling permissions, emergency calling configurations, and related voice services.
• Support migrations or transitions from traditional telephony platforms to Microsoft Teams.
• Work with networking and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot voice-related issues involving SIP, SBCs, QoS, firewalls, DNS, and network connectivity.
• Support and troubleshoot Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and SIP-based integrations.
• Assist with Cisco voice and collaboration environments where applicable, including CUCM, Webex, Unity Connection, and Cisco voice gateways.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve voice quality, reliability, and user experience.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone and enterprise telephony, including advanced calling capabilities, call routing, Auto Attendants, Call Queues, and telephony policies.

Candidates with experience supporting Cisco voice and collaboration technologies are also highly desirable. This role requires someone who can troubleshoot complex voice issues, configure enterprise calling solutions, and work across networking, telecommunications, and collaboration technologies.
