Job summary

GCI Communications Corp seeks a Voice Core Manager to lead the planning, standards development, and implementation of Voice Core projects. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to align with long-term strategy and ensure timely technology deployment for the wireline voice core.

You will oversee Voice Core personnel on day-to-day tasks and projects such as switch installations, lifecycle activities, database design, and network design.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of teams with direct and indirect reports.
• Experience in network planning and design for core network elements.
• Knowledge of security protocols and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Owns mission, goals, operations, and results of the team.
• Provide leadership across span of control and mentor staff.
• Oversee voice core deployments, including switching tech and signaling.
• Ensure alignment with CTO/Strategy and product and customer experience teams.
• Monitor performance and enforce standards and processes.
