Job summary

GCI Communication Corp. is seeking a Program Engineer to oversee engineering programs from conception to completion. You will lead technical strategy, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure on-time delivery within budget while aligning with business goals.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning planning, execution support, and stakeholder management. Anchorage-based travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and progressive engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical programs, developing plans, tracking budgets, and managing resources.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Develop and manage program plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead project engineers through multifaceted projects spanning multiple departments.
• Coordinate with project managers to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Mentor teams and drive continuous improvement across programs.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and company policies.
