Job summary

CompNova is seeking an experienced IMS Core Engineer specializing in CSCF support to deploy, integrate, and operate IMS and 5G core network services. You will work remotely, supporting VoLTE, SIP signaling, and cloud-native architectures in large-scale carrier environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with Linux, VNFs/CNFs, Kubernetes, and ATP testing, with responsibility for documentation, testing, and production readiness across telecom networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Proven experience supporting IMS Core networks in telecom environments.
• Strong CSCF deployment, integration, and support experience.
• Deep understanding of IMS architecture and network elements.
• Experience with 4G LTE and 5G Core services.
• Knowledge of VoLTE architecture, call flows, and service delivery.
• Experience performing ATP testing, software upgrades, and feature validation.
• Ability to develop and execute detailed MOPs and implementation plans.
• Strong IMS/VoLTE troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Virtualized and Cloud-Native Network Functions.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of 4G LTE and 5G xCSCF services.
• Deploy and integrate CSCF functions within IMS and 5G Core.
• Perform ATP and validate new software releases and features.
• Execute feature verification, integration testing, and readiness activities.
• Develop and maintain MOP documentation for implementations.
• Collaborate with IMS Architects to validate end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in lab validation before production deployment.
• Support FOA/FSA teams during testing and handover.
• Manage maintenance windows for new network functions.
• Troubleshoot production IMS, VoLTE issues and CSCF platforms.
• Analyze SIP signaling and call flows to resolve issues.
• Support virtualization/CNF environments hosting IMS/5G functions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure service stability.
