Job summary
Stanbridge University seeks an Assistant Director of Vocational Nursing to lead the VN program for evening and weekend cohorts, partnering with the Program Director to ensure academic quality and outcomes.
The role focuses on operations, faculty leadership, and student success, with on-site duties during evenings and weekends. Requires CA RN licensure, BVNPT-approved degree, and previous clinical supervision or teaching experience.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in California.
- Bachelor’s degree from BVNPT-approved school.
- Master’s degree in nursing, education, or administration preferred.
- Minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse.
- At least one year of teaching or clinical supervision in a state-approved nursing program (VN or RN) within the last five years; or three years in nursing administration or education in the last five years.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the VN program, with emphasis on evening and weekend cohorts.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate instructional faculty; provide coaching and feedback.
- Monitor student performance and implement retention strategies; ensure consistent quality across cohorts.
