Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL seeks a Program Manager for Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) Hardware with oversight of multiple suppliers. This on-site role requires a Secret clearance and offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage baselines, and ensure program objectives are met, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic aviation systems environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience or STEM master's with 8+ years.
• Demonstrated leadership in formal roles such as Project Lead or Cost Account Manager.
• Experience with program management principles: scheduling, budgeting, and contracting.
• Experience managing or interfacing with suppliers.
• Willingness to travel domestically 10% and ability to obtain/maintain clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage suppliers to meet program objectives and contract obligations.
• Enforce SOWs and support contract modifications as needed.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, engineering and operations.
• Track and report supplier performance in relation to program metrics.
• Deliver presentations to customers and senior management.
• Negotiate contracts, changes, budgets, schedules, and terms.
• Define and manage program baselines and budgets using EVMS or similar tools.
