Job summary

Join Vallen USA as a Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) Coordinator I in Decatur, AL. You will deliver, manage and stock merchandise at customer sites, ensuring accurate shipments and proper inventory control.

Responsibilities include coordinating with customers, scanning barcodes, and maintaining VMI points of use with 5S practices. This role requires a valid driver's license and basic warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in warehouse, inventory counting or delivery.
• Valid driver’s license per company standards.
• Willingness to learn semi-routine tasks and work with supervision.
• Strong teamwork and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations in compliance with DOT standards.
• Ensure accuracy of shipments to the customer.
• Assist with VMI space setup and stock products at customer sites.
• Manage the customer order from pickup to delivery and setup.
• Record spot buy orders and relay to CSR or Account Rep.
• Scan barcodes to generate orders at customer sites.
• Perform VMI functions at use areas and report observations to management.
• Monitor min/max/reorder points and advise on inventory changes.
• Maintain legible barcode labels and request new labels when needed.
• Support annual inventory counts and coordinate with team.
• Communicate information to clients, customers and managers.
• Maintain 5S standards at VMI points of use areas.
• Perform other duties as requested.
