We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Specialist with strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise telecommunications and information technology network systems. The ideal candidate will have RingCentral experience along with a solid background in Avaya Communications Manager and Aura platforms.

This role will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing telecommunications infrastructure, voice systems, call management platforms, and related network technologies. The position requires strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an on-site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise telecommunications and voice communication systems.
• Provide technical support for RingCentral and Avaya communication platforms.
• Support and administer Avaya Communications Manager v16.3, System Manager, and Session Manager.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Avaya Aura Messaging and Conferencing environments.
• Support Communication Manager Server (CMS) and associated telecommunications applications.
• Administer and troubleshoot VeraSmart Call Accounting and Virtual Observer call recording platforms.
• Support Avaya G430, G450 media gateways, and G650 cabinets/cards.
• Monitor telecommunications systems and identify potential performance, connectivity, and availability issues.
• Troubleshoot voice, network, and telecommunications-related incidents and provide timely resolution.
• Perform system upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance, and testing as required.
• Collaborate with IT, network, infrastructure, and other technical teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Assist with telecommunications projects, system implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
• Provide technical support to end users and internal stakeholders when required.
• Travel to other locations up to 20% of the time as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working with telecommunications and information technology network systems.
• Equivalent combinations of formal education and relevant professional experience may be considered.
• Hands‑on RingCentral experience is required.
• Strong experience with enterprise telecommunications and voice infrastructure.
• Experience with Avaya Communications Manager v16.3.
• Experience with Avaya System Manager and Session Manager.
• Knowledge of Avaya Aura Messaging and Conferencing.
• Experience with CMS (Communication Manager Server).
• Experience with VeraSmart Call Accounting.
• Experience with Virtual Observer call recording platform.
• Knowledge of Avaya G430 and G450 media gateways.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross‑functional technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting telecommunications systems within a large enterprise or healthcare environment.
• Experience with voice/network integration and IP‑based telephony.
• Experience with telecommunications system migrations, upgrades, and implementations.
• Familiarity with network protocols and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Relevant telecommunications, networking, or Avaya certifications are a plus.
