Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Facilities Technician in Shrewsbury, MA to join the life sciences vivarium and site maintenance teams. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, and support vivarium operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance experience, strong MEP knowledge, and the ability to weld (MIG/TIG/arc). You will handle general facility upkeep, respond to work orders, and may participate in on-call

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in maintenance or facilities support roles.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Proficiency in MIG/TIG/arc welding with safe operation of welding equipment.
Experience with chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and other mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on vivarium equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Conduct regular site walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with environmental standards.
Execute welding tasks (MIG/TIG/arc) for repairs, fabrication, and structural support.
