Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for a state-of-the-art life science campus in Waltham, MA. You will be the main contact for building owners and contribute to system design discussions, ensuring reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and BAS equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on HVAC, boilers, energy management systems, and building infrastructure. Strong communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Wastewater Treatment License or ability to obtain within six months.
• Proficiency with building management systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and trend facilities systems via building management system.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to increase reliability.
• Maintain and repair HVAC, boilers, and energy management systems.
• Respond to building maintenance requests and emergencies, including after-hours.
• Communicate work status clearly to owners or supervisor.
• Follow UG2 SOPs and safety guidelines.
