Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Vitamin Manager to lead a busy Vitamin/HBA team and help customers make informed health choices. You will manage inventory, guide product selection, and ensure top-notch service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will oversee training, scheduling, and adherence to safety guidelines while promoting health and wellness through informed recommendations and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with 1 year vitamin/holistic experience or education/experience combo.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to take direction in a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and adhere to safety rules.
• Willing to learn about new products and alternate health.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, climb and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team to deliver the finest quality of product and service.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and guidance on vitamins and health products.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins and related products.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries, ensure compliance with health and sanitation guidelines.
