Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Vitamin Manager to help customers choose vitamins and health products while leading a busy store team. You will focus on service excellence, team leadership, and operational efficiency within the Vitamin/HBA department.

The role emphasizes managing inventory, staffing, and maintaining product knowledge to assist customers effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to take directions while maintaining a team environment.
• Maintain department housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Willing to learn about new products and alternative health.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lbs. and move ladders/carts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team that delivers high-quality products and exceptional service for customers.
• Ensure customers receive the best possible service and guidance on vitamins and related products.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins and supplements to advise customers without prescribing.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
