Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Vitamin Manager to lead one of our busiest teams in the store. You will guide customers on vitamins and health products, manage inventory, and help drive departmental growth.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail environment, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Candidates should be 18+, with relevant experience and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of 1 year vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties.
• Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction while maintaining a team environment.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and dust.
• Be willing to gain education on new products and alternative health.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Able to perform physical tasks: stand/walk/bend/climb, lift up to 50 lbs., move ladder up to 25 ft.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products, service, and customer experience.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and guidance on vitamins, supplements, and health products.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins and related products to guide customers without prescribing.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
