Sprouts Farmers Market in Knoxville, TN seeks an Assistant Vitamin Manager to lead one of the store’s busiest teams and help customers make healthy choices. You will manage merchandising, ordering, and staff development while upholding safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with 1 year of vitamin/holistic experience with leadership duties; or an education/experience combo.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication; able to give and take direction in a team.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and dust.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Willing to gain education on new products and alternative health.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills.
• Able to stand/walk/bend/climb and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
• Able to move a ladder up to 25 feet; use a cart with up to 35 lbs. force.
• Walk up to 3 miles in an 8-hour shift.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team to deliver the highest quality products, service, and customer experience.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service and guidance on vitamins, supplements, and health/beauty items.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of vitamins and related products to assist customers.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries.
• Enforce company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure team compliance.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment; contribute ideas and energy.
