Qualifications

• Experience handling high-volume customer requests and fees (cash, cards, money orders).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel).
• Notary Public certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets constituents and listens to their needs, provides correct information and appropriate forms.
• Reviews and validates identification and documents for vital records requests.
• Processes fees according to policies and procedures.
• Searches for records and processes routine birth/death amendments; issues certificates.
• Balances drawer daily and handles cash and checks.
• Resolves constituent questions and complaints regarding Vital Records requests.
• Opens mail, reviews requests, and enters data into tracking system.
• Performs clerical duties and data entry as needed.
