Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with three years of job-related experience, or one year at the Admin Assistant 1 level or equivalent.
• Preferred: five years in business/service with research and troubleshooting, plus two years in escalated customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Review identification and documentation for vital records requests to ensure validity.
• Research complex vital records requests submitted internally.
• Coordinate with other departments and agencies to expedite high-quality service.
• Register and document requests, update tracking systems.
• Identify and address potential fraud in requests and escalate as needed.
