Job summary

Belk in Waco, TX is seeking a Merchandising Team Lead to drive sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience through attractive, well-merchandised presentations. Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Management
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must regularly move around store areas and be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Ability to push/pull receiving equipment weighing up to 500 lbs

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative to achieve store objectives.
• Lead team in executing product presentations per planograms and brand standards; assist with deliveries.
• Execute sale sets and price changes; prepare signs; monitor daily promotions; maintain back-of-house organization.
• Communicate daily goals and key tasks; model knowledge-sharing.
• Participate in weekly leadership planning; determine required labor hours using manifests and planograms.
• Adapt tactics to changing forecasts and business needs.
• Assist onboarding and ongoing learning for associates; support team development.
• Foster a positive store culture and recognize associate achievements.
• Support in-store customer experience; assist with stock replenishment and store recovery during peak periods.
• Lead store fulfillment and asset protection in designated areas per omni/operations processes.
