Job summary

CHANEL seeks a Specialist, Visual Merchandising in Aspen to oversee VM standards during boutique hours and events. You will work with the Visual Lead to ensure proper fixtures, displays, and merchandising across windows and floors.

You will maintain VM guidelines, coordinate with boutique management, and photo-document boutique changes for Global Image Team, while thriving in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable Art / Fashion related course of study.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position or higher: preferably with a luxury brand.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Foreign language skills are preferred but not required.
• Able to move heavy items - up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of all visual merchandising standards within the boutique during hours and events.
• Supervise with the Visual Lead the implementation and maintenance of VM guidelines including window installs and fixture setup.
• Coordinate movement and storage of display elements with VM Manager.
• Ensure windows and selling floors are merchandised following VM guidelines between floor sets, window installations and launches.
• Take and update VM photos after changes and store in Dropbox per guidelines.
