Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Specialist, Visual Merchandising in New York to oversee VM standards across the boutique during hours and events. You will supervise with the Visual Merchandising Lead the implementation of guidelines, window installs, fixtures, and mannequins involved in boutique displays.

You will communicate VM direction to ambassadors and management, maintain relationships with boutique teams, coordinate display movement, ensure windows and floors follow guidelines, photo-document

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar position, preferably with a luxury brand.
• Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or related Art/Fashion course of study.
• Excellent communication skills and focus on client experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and oversee all VM direction, animations and guidelines to Ambassadors and boutique management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Boutique Management to ensure merchandise initiatives are met.
• Coordinate movement and storage of display elements with VM Merchandising Manager.
• Ensure windows and selling floors are merchandised per VM guidelines between sets and launches.
• Photograph the boutique after floor/window changes and update Dropbox per VM guidelines.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and deliver timely results.
