Job summary

CHANEL, Inc. in New York is seeking an Associate, Visual Merchandising to uphold the brand image in-store and elevate the client experience. You will report to the Boutique Director and coordinate with VM leadership to ensure flawless displays and timely merchandising execution.

Responsibilities include rapid display changes, floor replenishment, event support, and maintaining accurate window documentation while collaborating with the selling team in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related retail/display experience.
• Basic knowledge of retail operations, display and merchandising.
• Experience with digital photography and basic computer software.

Responsibilities

• Expedite the selling process by adjusting displays and replenishing items as needed.
• Be the point of contact for VM Lead when busy with other projects or on weekends.
• Support Operations with floor moves and collection launches, including display prep.
• Update digital photo files for VM maintenance and changes.
• Keep window item documentation current (SKU, price, size, etc.).
• Assist in events, sales, seasonal installs, and other business initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with boutique selling team and management.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
