Job summary

CHANEL is seeking an Associate, Visual Merchandising in New York to maintain the brand image and elevate the client experience. You will report to the Boutique Director with dotted lines to the Regional VM Manager, supporting displays, events, and ongoing VM maintenance.

The role requires strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a passion for CHANEL's heritage. Flexibility for late nights, weekends, and holidays is needed to drive business results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in fashion retail or visual merchandising.
• Knowledge of retail operations, display and merchandising.
• Experience with basic computer software and digital photography.

Responsibilities

• Expedite the selling process by changing mannequins and replenishing items on the selling floor.
• Serve as VM Lead contact when unavailable and support VM projects on weekends.
• Assist in floor moves, collection launches, and display substitutions as needed.
• Update digital photo files for VM maintenance as changes are made.
• Maintain current documentation of window items (SKU, price, size).
• Support events, sales, and seasonal installations in the Boutique.
• Communicate effectively with boutique selling team and management.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
