Job summary

The Paper Store in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Visual Department Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver a best-in-class shopping experience. You will train staff, manage store payroll within budget, and ensure top-notch visual presentation across the sales floor.

You will also open/close the store, oversee POS operations, and coordinate promotions and events while maintaining excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in specialty retail preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Must multitask while attending customers and maintain service quality.
• Proficient in MS Office and POS systems; able to learn store software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a unique shopping experience using G.U.E.S.T. service.
• Build and inspire high-performing teams to achieve sales goals.
• Manage payroll within budget and train staff in all areas.
• Execute and maintain visual presentation standards and store operations.
• Open/close the store and handle POS duties; oversee breaks and floor coverage.
• Lead store events, promotions, and loyalty programs; ensure signage is up to date.
