Job summary

The Paper Store is seeking a Visual Department Manager to lead compelling merchandise presentations and storytelling. You will drive sales, oversee visual execution across apparel, home décor, jewelry, and seasonal merchandise, and coach associates to deliver brand standards.

In this role you will evaluate the floor daily, adjust displays, partner with Store Leadership and District Managers, and ensure promotions and signage are on schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail leadership or department management experience.
• Passionate about merchandising, presentation, design and customer experiences.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Create visually compelling merchandise presentations that inspire customers and drive sales.
• Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards across categories.
• Lead floor set executions, displays, campaigns, and new product launches.
• Train and coach associates on standards, storytelling, and presentation.
• Evaluate the sales floor daily and adjust merchandising to maximize sales.
• Partner with Store Leadership on inventory, trends, and seasonal needs.
• Ensure signage and promotional materials are accurate and on schedule.
• Support development of associates through coaching and accountability.
