Job summary

J.Crew, located in Burlington, MA, seeks an Associate Manager to join its leadership team. You will drive profitability by fostering customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement, while coaching the team to peak performance.

You will own a designated area, support recruiting/training, and help maintain operational excellence across Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, and selling. Flexibility for varied shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Schedule flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for product and lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Director to act as a shared business owner and maximize profitability.
• Own designated division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology while ensuring accountability.
• Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development efforts.
• Partner with Store Director and management to foster a collaborative environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team consistently exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Create innovative community engagement and loyalty-building events.
• Step into various sales floor roles as needed.
