Job summary

J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Associate Manager to join our leadership team. You will drive profitability by building brand loyalty, coaching teammates, and delivering best-in-class service across the store.

You’ll own a key area of operations while stepping into other roles to sustain operational excellence and community engagement, including recruiting, training, and events that connect with our customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Demonstrates passion for our brand, customers and teams.
• Keeps up-to-date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embraces teamwork, flexibility and courtesy in execution.
• Shows initiative, innovative thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Has scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and move at least 40 pounds/18 kilos.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Store Director to act as a shared business owner and maximize profitability.
• Own your designated division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development.
• Partner with management to foster a collaborative environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales-floor roles as needed.
