Job summary

Target is seeking a visually focused Visual Merchandiser in Watsonville, CA to elevate guest experience through elevated merchandising and strategic display planning. You will map and block fixtures, lead ISM elements, and train teammates in best-practice visual standards to drive sales and guest engagement.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of merchandising experience, strong trend awareness, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of visual merchandising experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales.
• Strong understanding of trends reflective of the brand.
• Lead and influence store teams to follow processes that support visual merchandising.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily/weekly visual workload with guidance to include sales goals and promotions.
• Execute weekly visual assessments with leaders to improve store display and guest experience.
• Ensure visual standards across the store align with the merchandising strategy.
• Support and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy and ISM across store areas.
• Maintain organization of backroom space and updating signing tools.
