Job summary

Target is seeking a Visual Merchandiser at our San Francisco store to maintain elevated visual presentations, support ISM initiatives, and lead team members in implementing the latest merchandising standards. You will plan workloads, assess displays, and ensure consistency with brand visuals in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong communication, flexibility, and a customer-focused approach, with a willingness to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of visual merchandising experience preferred.
• 18 years of age or older and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales.
• Strong understanding of current trends reflective of the brand.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily/weekly visual workload with guidance, to meet sales goals and promotions.
• Execute weekly visual assessments to improve store presentation.
• Ensure visual standards across the store align with company strategy.
• Support and validate ISM and visual presentations with leadership.
• Set overhead spotlights to highlight key merchandising displays.
• Train and guide team on visual standards and signing practices.
• Maintain backroom organization and signing tools.
• Promote inclusivity, safety, and compliant conduct in daily tasks.
