Job summary

Target, a leading retailer, seeks a Visual Merchandiser to ensure engaging in-store visual moments that drive sales. The role emphasizes high-visibility displays, mannequin styling, and ISM execution.

You will plan workload, lead teams, and maintain visual standards across the store, while delivering an exceptional guest experience. The position requires 1–2 years of visual merchandising experience, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years visual merchandising experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales.
• Ability to lead store teams and follow processes for visual merchandising.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to use handheld devices and cash registers.
• Must be able to lift up to 44 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily/weekly visual workload with guidance to include sales goals, events, and promotions.
• Execute weekly visual assessments with leaders to improve store visuals.
• Ensure visual standards are followed across the store and ISM elements.
• Support and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy and standards.
• Set overhead lighting to highlight key displays and adjust sets as needed.
• Teach team visual standards and signing/affordability strategies during huddles.
• Keep backroom organized and maintain signing tools.
• Assist onboarding and training to close knowledge gaps.
• Create a welcoming guest experience and assist guests as needed.
• Maintain safe, compliant work practices at all times.
