Job summary

ALO is seeking a Visual Lead in Boston to drive sales and maximize profitability through strategic Visual Merchandising in partnership with the Management Team. You will lead visual direction, manage floor sets, and coordinate with Operations & Visual Managers to optimize inventory, training, and guest experience.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the sales floor, coaching Associates, and maintaining visual standards across the store.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a client-centric, sales environment.
• Values feedback and is receptive to it.
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing.
• Maintain strategic product presentation and merchandising with restock and updates as directed by Visual Manager.
• Plan visual floor changes with the management team considering payroll and business needs.
• Execute and maintain visual direction from planning through execution to meet company expectations and budgets.
• Use reporting tools with management to identify opportunities with product placement and stock levels.
• Partner with Operations & Visual Managers to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team and guests.
• Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations, guest experience, and visual standards.
• Partner with management to provide coaching, guidance and direction to Associates; responsible for recruitment and development of talent.
• Use company performance tools to evaluate associates and provide feedback for growth.
• Collaborate with Operations Lead to ensure cross-functional training.
• Execute company-level directives and projects with leadership to achieve goals and KPIs.
• Open and close the store in accordance with visual standards.
