Job summary

Acuren is seeking a Visual Inspector in Memphis, TN to perform visual and nondestructive examinations of pressure retaining equipment in alignment with API and ASME standards. You will document conditions and provide technical recommendations for repairs or alterations to ensure safe operation.

The role requires API 510/570/653 certification, 5–10 years of experience (or 2+ years on site), and preferrably CWI or additional NDT credentials. Travel may be required as part of client support.

Qualifications

• Certification of API 510/570/653
• 5–10 years’ experience or 2+ years on site
• CWI or NDT a plus
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570/653 and ASME standards
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API and ASME standards
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment
• Provide input on welding and metallurgical issues
• Provide guidance on NDE techniques and procedures
• Comply with Acuren and client safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives
• Willingness to travel if needed
