Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. is seeking a Visual Inspector (API 510/570/653) to support operations in New Castle, DE. This is a local callout/travel position with duties including visual and NDE of pressure-retaining equipment, reporting findings, and advising on repairs to ensure safe operation.

Required certifications include API 510/570, with API 653 or CWI as a plus. Candidates should have 5–10 years' experience or 2+ years on-site, plus in-depth API/ASME knowledge and petrochemical experience.

Qualifications

• Certification of API 510/570 is required.
• 5–10 years' experience or 2+ years on-site experience.
• API 653 or CWI is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure-retaining equipment per API/ASME standards.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, or alteration of plant equipment.
• Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with Acuren and client safety practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
• Willingness to travel locally as required.
