Job summary

Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Tampa, FL, seeks API 510/570/653 certified inspectors to support local operations with optional travel. The role focuses on visual and nondestructive examination of pressure-retaining equipment, reporting findings, and advising on repair or replacement to maintain safe plant operation.

Candidates should bring API 510/570 certification, ASME knowledge, and 5–10 years’ experience (or 2+ on-site). Additional API 653 or CWI is a plus.

Qualifications

• API 510/570 certification required.
• 5–10 years’ experience or 2+ years on-site experience.
• API 653 or CWI is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience supporting petrochemical facility engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and non-destructive examination of pressure retaining equipment per API/ASME.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition.
• Provide technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement or alterations.
• Provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues as required.
• Apply NDE techniques and procedures; ensure compliance with safe work practices.
• Travel as needed and support safety initiatives.
