The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is seeking a Visual Design, Emerging Talent Intern to help build a library of reusable design assets and branded engagement materials for career fairs and programs. Position Title: Visual Design, Emerging Talent Intern
Hourly Rate: $19.00 (Undergraduate)
All internship positions are onsite and require regular, in-person attendance at the designated work location with a minimum of 20hrs per a week.
The Emerging Talent team is responsible for attracting, engaging, and developing early-career talent for the MTA. We manage internship programs, student outreach, and recruitment initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future professionals.
The assignment involves creating a library of reusable design assets, such as illustrations and templates and developing branded engagement materials for career fairs, including games, pinwheels, and Q&A boards. The role requires strong design skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, basic video‑editing abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple projects while following brand guidelines.
