For many travelers, the Springfield-Branson National Airport is their very first introduction to Springfield and the person behind the Information Center desk may be one of the first people they meet.
Visit Springfield is looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, and service-minded Part-Time Visitor Services Associate to help welcome travelers to our community and make that first impression a great one.
As a Visitor Services Associate at the airport, you'll serve as an ambassador for Springfield. Whether you're answering a quick question, helping someone find transportation, recommending a restaurant, pointing a visitor toward their hotel, or simply offering a friendly welcome after a long day of travel, your job is to make people feel like they've arrived somewhere they're glad to be.
You don't have to know every restaurant, attraction, or street in Springfield. What matters most is that you enjoy helping people, are willing to find answers when you don't know them, and take pride in representing our community well.
You don't have to be a walking encyclopedia of Springfield. We can teach you the details. What we're looking for is someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and understands that even a short interaction can shape how someone feels about our city.
The ideal candidate will have:
This is more than sitting behind an information desk. You're helping give Springfield its first impression.
Every day, people arrive at the Springfield-Branson National Airport for different reasons. Some are here for a vacation. Some are visiting family. Others are traveling for business, attending an event, moving to the area, or experiencing Springfield for the very first time.
No matter what brings them here, you have the opportunity to make their arrival a little easier and a lot more welcoming.
Sometimes that means recommending the perfect place for dinner. Sometimes it means helping someone figure out how to get where they're going. And sometimes it's as simple as looking up, smiling, and saying, "Welcome to Springfield."
If you enjoy meeting new people, love helping others, and believe a great visitor experience can begin the moment someone steps off a plane, we'd love to hear from you.
Visit Springfield is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We encourage candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
