Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Visitor Screening Ambassador to welcome patients and visitors, provide basic information, and support daily operations. You will help manage the front-line experience, answer inquiries, and assist with transportation requests in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong customer service and communication skills, and comfort with basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication and phone/computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Provides basic information about services and directions.
• Assists with visitor management and data entry.
• Tracks visitor location and assists with temperature checks.
• Answers phones and coordinates transportation.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.
