Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure patients receive the highest quality Optometric care. You will greet customers, explain paperwork and tests, and assist with frames, lenses and orders.

You’ll handle patient records, support the Optometrist and Retail Management, and maintain store standards while contributing to door-to-visit service and sales goals.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers without delay (within 30 seconds).
• Explains all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information with attention to detail.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant records.
• Places contact lens orders and submits invoices for payment.
• Operates POS system with accuracy and proper handling of payments.
• Supports doctor and retail functions to link exam and shopping experiences.
• Ensures store displays comply with company guidelines.
• Responds to store promotions with clear communication.
