Qualifications

• Completion of 2+ years of college OR 1 year retail experience with 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in the Vision Center through effective merchandising, pricing, signing, in-stock and inventory management, budgeting and forecasting.
• Model and enforce customer service approaches to ensure member/customer needs and issues are resolved.
• Oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve their community.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations, and monitor asset protection and safety controls.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and develop associates, providing recognition and fostering belonging.
• Assist members/customers in selecting eyewear, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, and maintaining equipment.
