Job summary

Walmart's Vision Center in Post Falls, ID is seeking an optician to drive eyewear sales by delivering expert customer service, accurate measurements, and proper frame selection. You will maintain inventory, assist with pricing and merchandising, and help ensure compliance with company policies while upholding privacy of customer information.

Responsibilities include guiding Associates on service excellence, participating in community outreach, and contributing to a positive, inclusive work

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of college OR 1 year of retail experience with 1 year of supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience including 1 year optical experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in Vision Center through effective merchandising, pricing, signing and inventory management.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Associates on customer service approaches and issue resolution.
• Oversee community outreach programs and promote a culture of belonging and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with policies, asset protection, safety controls, and privacy of information.
